I've now done over 100 demos and one question I get really often is...
How Does The Algorithm What Is The Best Load
Some context:
Dispatch Robot AI searches Truckstop, DAT and 123 Load board. Using our proprietary algorithm to rank the loads we then notify trucking companies of the best loads available for them to book.
This won't be an in depth blog but more high level.
Generally speaking if i were to ask you;
Is a lower rate or higher rate better? Right, higher.
Is a lighter or heavier weight better? Right, lighter.
Is a longer or shorter load better? Right, shorter.
Is more or less dead head better? Right, less.
As humans, if we are looking at two maybe three loads we can rather quickly identify the better load out of that small sample size, however when you open up the load board and create a search for your truck, how many loads do you see... hundreds!
An algorithm is the only way to almost instantly rank the loads against each other and see which ones are better and which ones are worse.
